20 YEARS OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

For over twenty years I have been making didgeridoo. I have always made yidaki with the the respect and awareness of its origins coming from north east Arnhem Land.

CONNECTION TO LINEAGE

A number of years ago I was invited into Djalu Gurruwiwi’s family, since that time I have made regular visits to his homeland to deepen my connection with Djalu , his family and my craft as a Yidaki maker. I have been given permission and blessings to make Yidaki. I continue to work with respect and integrity with this instrument. This is what you get when you buy a Jesse Lethbridge Didgeridoo.

CONNECTION TO MUSIC.

The last couple of years I have been invited to perform at Garma festival (Yothu Yindi) and have worked closely to support the Yidaki master class with Djalu. All my timbers are sustainably harvested under NT licence.
